Near Point Stress – You Need To Be Aware Of This

When a person has stopped growing, and their eyes are progressively getting worse, it is probable because what is called “near point stress”. At risk: office workers who work on their computers all day long, also students researching and chatting with friends on line. And, Facebook Users, who sit for hours and write back and forth. When you wear corrective lenses, contacts or glasses, then the muscles of your eye can only be can only be resting when you are looking at an object a minimum of about 20 feet away. So how often generic buy does an office worker, a Facebook user, a student actually look away from the screen or TV? Not too often, we know that. If you focus on anything, like a monitor, television screen, book at less than twenty feet, then your eyes will actually have to accommodate to do that – that is they have to actually change the muscles to focus at less than that 20 feet.
